What is iNTELLYJELLY's KidLit 2 Writing Contest?

 iNTELLYJELLY's KidLit 2 Writing Contest is a prestigious national competition for young writers. Participants are invited to submit essays, poems, articles, or short stories on any topic of their choice.

What are the age groups for participation?

The competition is divided into two age groups:

Junior: Grade2 - Grade5

Senior: Grade6 - Grade9

What is the word limit for submissions?

Maximum word limit for any article is below 1800 words.

How do I submit my entry?

Please check your promotions and spam folders if you do not receive the email. Go to the above 'Submit Your Article Here' section, fill up all the details, and submit. 

Are there any restrictions on the originality of the work?

Yes, submissions must be original works that have not been previously published or exhibited. Plagiarized content will result in disqualification. Entries must be written by the participants themselves.

How will winners be notified?

Prize winners will be notified via email, and the results will also be published on our website and social media handles. Follow us on Instagram for updates.

What are the prizes for the competition?

  • Master Wordsmith Award (includes both the groups): INR 11,000
  • Story Wordsmith Award Senior Group: INR 3,000
  • Story Wordsmith Award Junior Group: INR 3,000
  • Poem Wordsmith Award Senior Group: INR 2,000

The iNTELLYJELLY's KidLit2 Writing Contest is open to children for two age groups.

Junior (Grade 2 - Grade 5).

Senior (Grade 6 - Grade9)

Submission Requirements:
  • Only articles in English will be considered
  • We do not appreciate plagiarism
  • Articles should adhere to the specified word count, formatting, and category requirements.
  • Choose any topic or theme of your choice
  • Entries must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Intellectual Property Rights:

By entering the contest, contestants grant the iNTELLYJELLY Publication House a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free copyright to their submissions.

Judging and Decisions:
  • The iNTELLYJELLY Publication House will appoint a panel of judges to evaluate the entries, and their decisions will be final.
  • Entries will be evaluated on their individual creative   merits
Confidentiality:

Contestants' personal information collected during the Contest will be kept confidential and used solely for contest-related communication.

Acceptance of Rules:

By participating in the Contest, contestants acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Disqualification:
  • Contestants found in violation of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  • Unsportsman like behaviour, including plagiarism or disrespectful conduct, may result in disqualification.
Liability:
  • The organizers are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries, or for any technical or human error that may occur during the contest.
  • Contestants agree to release and hold the iNTELLYJELLY Publication House Pvt Ltd from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from their participation in the contest.
